The CP-4N fits in my front dress shirt pocket, which it where I like to put it. I use rechargeable batteries to reduce the recycle time even further. The external battery pack dramatically reduces the recycle time between flashes and more than doubles the number of flashes before I need to replace the batteries. I bought the CP-E4N to shorten the recycle time between flashes and to increase the number of flashes between battery replacement. At those events, I now use the CP-E4N with a Speedlite 600EX-RT II.
